
If you’re on Nintendo Switch or Epic Games, sign in with the email that you entered in-game the first time you opened the workshop. You can log in using your Steam or Xbox account. Log into with the mod.io account that is used in the game, from here you will be able to change the image on your custom content. How to change the image on your uploaded content? Select Upload New or Update Existing, and then find the battle, campaign, unit or faction that you want to upload/update. Then you are given a choice of uploading it as a new unit or to update an uploaded one. You can upload your units to the workshop by going into Custom Content and selecting the unit (or battle/campaign/faction) you want to upload, and next to the Edit and Rename buttons, there is an Upload button. How to upload your custom content to the in-game workshop? To use your local units, go to the Factions tab in Custom Content and then add the unit to a new or existing faction. Units must be added to a faction before you can use them in battles. To play a battle you’ve subscribed to, go to Custom Content from the main menu, select the Battles tab at the top and then the Downloaded tab. To play a campaign you’ve subscribed to, select Campaign from the main menu and then select the Downloaded tab. How to play campaigns and battles that you’ve subscribed to? Pick a faction, then select the Downloaded tab to add units you’ve subscribed to in the workshop. Add the unit to a new or existing faction.

From the main menu, select Custom Content and then the Factions tab at the top. How to use a unit that you’ve downloaded? To use custom factions in campaigns, go to Settings > Gameplay > Unlock all units in campaign levels > Make sure it’s turned on. Select the plus sign to add custom factions to the wheel.


If you are using the radial interface or are playing on Xbox, go into a battle and hold LB to open the radial wheel, then press Y to edit factions.

This will open the “More factions” tab where you can add custom factions to the bar. To use a faction that you’ve downloaded from the workshop or that you’ve created yourself, go into a battle and click on the plus sign near the bottom. How to use a faction that you’ve downloaded or created? You can also click the cloud icon to download an editable copy to your Custom Content, which will allow you to edit the item you downloaded. Once you find something you’re interested in, click on it and then click the bell icon to install and subscribe. You can use the filters to sort by popularity, rating and so on.
